Enabling the FLASH Programming mode on STM32MP1 Boards

In order to update the Linux image used by the STM32MP1 device, it needs to be switched into the FLASH programming mode (using the built-in bootloader). Follow the steps below to do this:

  1. Switch both boot mode jumpers to OFF
  2. Connect both the power and data USB connectors (the ST-Link connector doesn't need to be connected):

Once you have enabled the FLASH programming  mode, use our STM32MP1 FLASH programming tool to easily update the Linux image used by your board.
